In regards to the critical race theory, I feel that is also something that should discussed; definition is

Critical race theory (CRT) is an interdisciplinary academic field focused on the relationships between social conceptions of race and ethnicity, social and political laws, and media. CRT also considers racism to be systemic in various laws and rules, and not only based on individuals' prejudices.” -Wikipedia

Hi Ketsia!

I was so excited to work with you and then our group changed! I love your energy and outlook on a lot of class discussions! I have all black young men (6 sons) and it is important for me to teach them our history. I try to be creative and informative. I feel that it is my duty because the systems that be refuse to educate our young people on CRT. As you continue to grow, I pray that you teach other young people and one day your children as well about their rich history. Tell it all the good, bad, happy and sad. I take these boys to museums, opera, family gatherings and the library a lot!
