I liked reading your perspective on Antonio Maceo. He was a great soldier and he was a black man which is great. He had humble but preparatory beginnings and I think that is how he was able to be such a hero. I am glad you were able to embed your timeline. I had issues with that as well and finally got it right. Some of your pictures are not showing up on your timeline though. You may want to fix that later. Your story overall is good though.
