Candomble

• The religious practice created during the 19th century in Brazil, that combines the principles of other religions- from other cultures including West Africa- particularly those of Youruba and Angolan descent. Followers of this practice pray to the orixas or deities- which reflect different expressions of the natural world and human experience.
